The Air Jordan 4 Retro "Motorsports Alternate" was released in 2017 alongside a predominantly white "Motorsport" colorway, inspired by MJ's motorcycle racing team and modeled after a super-limited colorway given to the team's 16 members in 2006. This the pair features a black leather upper with matte silver detailing on the molded hoops, collar lining and a Jumpman logo on the heel. A second Jumpman icon graces the woven tongue tag in Game Royal. A polyurethane midsole with visible air cushioning anchors the classic mid-top silhouette.
